Its been a while since Phantom Wings created the updated version of the World Wrap X code. The World Wrap hack allows you to go through one side of a stage and pop out on the opposite side. You know, like like the old-school Mario Bros game. Hence, you can only die upwards/downwards.

The newer version works in most (if not all) stages. It still has a weird bug, where sometimes you get hit with an invisible item (example in 2:40) if throwing them near the left or right of the stage, but its pretty arbitrary. Also, some final smashes seem to have an issue with the code, making the game freeze if trying to “Wrap” the stage. Its still pretty fun, regardless of whether you use Final Smashes or not.

And as an added bonus, I’ve also included a few extra codes, along with the World Wrap X V2 (which I like to call X2) to make the use of this hack even more enjoyable. So with the codes that will follow, you will have:

-No horizontal death points
-No HUDS (character battle icons)
-No Offscreen Indicators (the little zoom you get when you are at the stage’s edge)

This is the second Super Mario Bros. Game Genie Corruption video! There are more interesting iterations than the first video. Instead of using one code on each corruption scene, I’ve decided to enable multiple codes to get things more amusing. It took some time to do each of them perfectly because usually I mess up or the game freezes itself at some point. There are 8 corruption scenes to watch, most of them which has to do with graphic and behavioral errors. So watch and enjoy the video!

This is the first official Super Mario Bros. corruption video that I made and is played by me, on this account that is. I’ve used Game Genie codes that I found from the internet that would most likely effect some parts of the game. The enabled codes aren’t screwy as some other corruption videos that you may have seen, unless if you enable multiple codes which would often result an unexpected game freeze. Anyways, there are 7 corruptions for you to see. Not that much interesting results, but they’re good.

Note that I am planning to start a corruption series on retro games, and if you enjoy watching screwed up games, then you should subscribe to me.
